The problems you suffer from are too big for you to solve.

The steps you can take to push back against these problems are too small and ineffective to actually solve them. You’ll suffer terribly even for trying to push back.

Do it anyway.

It’s coming regardless.

You don’t have to die on every hill, but we do all die. So choose your hill, and hold it. Hold it until you can’t. Make them shake you loose.

Do not break and run at the mere sight or implication of those who come for you. When you have found your place and prepared it and made peace with it, hold fast and make them try break you. Make them try overcome you.

Because they are vapor. Because they are whispers on wind (sometimes). Not always, we know, and so do you, but much more than they’d care to admit.

And because even when their threat is real, it takes energy from them to break you. Because even your teeth and bones turn sharp to cut deep into them crushing you, so they shy from it. Because they are cowards who only act when they can trust in overwhelming force.

So be a challenge that splits their force overwhelming.

They say they are invincible, inevitable. They say they are everywhere. They say this, but we say to you that this is their lie to sap your morale. This

So make them choose, and in choosing, always do so wrongly.

Make them fight, make them fight, make them exert, everywhere and without relent, with no time for peace or recuperation.

Make them hate every new day for what they know it brings them (you).

Your job is to open a new front. Your job is to open an old wound. To set alight new tinder their own brutality has spread ahead for you. To uncover and warm old charcoal to burn thru the dark toward morning. To terrify them with possibilities everywhere.

Your job is to remind your people of what might yet be done against all those who want us not-to-be.

No one is coming to save you. No one is coming to save us. Your mediators will not ride in on white horse, charge on your behalf to rescue.

But we are all already here.

You do not need a savior. You do not better mediators to bargain with power on your behalf. You need be better and have need of no mediators, however talented. You need would-be mediators who fear for their safety from you and beg you to slow down.
